The ‘Arrive Alive’ programme has reduced road accidents by 15 per cent in Warangal Commissionerate limits over the past six months, DGP (Operations) Anil Kumar said. Telangana alone reported over 7,000 fatalities last year, underscoring the urgent need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules.
