Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress of encouraging infiltration in Assam for votes while addressing a rally in Kaliabor. He said the BJP was protecting Assam’s identity and highlighted infrastructure projects, wildlife protection efforts and development initiatives in the state
"When there was a Congress government at the centre and in the state at the same time, there was double neglect, double corruption and double infiltration", he said.
