Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath defended the Ram temple trust amid the SIT probe into alleged donation theft, saying only eight individuals were found guilty out of nearly 150 staff. Police have taken three accused into custody, while the SIT identified Avinash Shukla as the prime accused in a 40-day pilferage racket.
An FIR has been registered in Ayodhya over alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram temple. Acting on strong recommendations from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
