In a major setback to the CPI (Maoist), four top leaders, including Politburo and Central Committee members, surrendered before Telangana police. Officials said the organisation’s apex and state leadership structures have collapsed following the reintegration of the cadres.
It might be recalled that in a statement on January 18 by the Maoist South Bastar Divisional Committee secretary Ganga stated that Damodar died in an operation by security forces south Bastar division Pamed-Basaguda-Usur area in Chhattisgarh.
