Promotional ads circulated on social media claimed that the individual could regrow hair on bald heads, and a dedicated app was also launched to support the claim. Drawn by the promise, large crowds gathered at Uppal Bhagayat on Wednesday. The organizers charged each person Rs 1,000 and provided them with bottles of oil and shampoo.
