Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar was hailed as a hero after allegedly thwarting a co-pilot's attempt to crash a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Despite suffering stab injuries, Machchhar reportedly helped prevent a catastrophe as passengers and crew subdued the attacker.
