In line with petrol prices, the price of diesel is also increasing across the country, but its retail price rise remained unchanged on Monday.

On Monday, the oil marketing companies (OMCs) raised the price of petrol and diesel between 26 and 31 paise per litre across the four metros.

With the latest increase, the retail prices of petrol and diesel increased by 25 paise per litre to touch Rs 95.56 and Rs 86.47 per litre respectively in Delhi.

Infosys was the top loser in the Sensex pack, shedding over 3 per cent, followed by M&M, IndusInd Bank, Maruti, Bajaj Finance, UltraTech Cement and ICICI Bank.
