The legislation and judiciary committee of the National Assembly approved the revision of the Telecommunications Business Act, which seeks to bar app market operators from requiring developers
The move, the tech giant said, is to ensure that the Indian developers have "enough time to implement the UPI for subscription payment option that will be made available on Google Play".
