Ram Charan’s sports action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has stormed the global box office with collections of over Rs 181.8 crore in just two days. Released on Thursday, the film opened with Rs 135.36 crore and added Rs 46.44 crore on day two.
Sunny Deol’s Border 2 opened strongly at the box office, earning Rs 32.10 crore on its first day. The war drama sequel recorded massive footfalls nationwide but reportedly did not release in several Gulf countries.
Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar,” directed by Aditya Dhar, earned over Rs 28.60 crore nett on its first day. The star-studded underworld saga explores espionage, criminal networks and betrayal, featuring Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun.
“Dhadak 2”, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, collected Rs 9.09 crore in two days. Released on Friday, the sequel faced delays due to CBFC hurdles before finally hitting theatres.
