Mumbai commuters faced a second day of disruption as the strike by BEST employees continued, leaving buses off the roads. To ease travel for NEET retest candidates, BEST arranged 60 additional buses and sought support from MSRTC.
The 25-seater state-of the art Ultra Urban 9/9 e-AC buses were flagged off by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at an event in South Mumbai, Tata Motors said in a release.
