Officials say, the owner of a fishing boat damaged in a collision with a Chinese cargo vessel off the coast of Mumbai has received a compensation of Rs 18.55 lakh. MH Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis handed the compensation cheque to the boat owner, Hemdeep Tipri.
The passenger vessel, ML Sabit Al Hasan, sank after colliding with the cargo ship, SKL-3, at the mouth of the Syedpur Koyla Ghat on the Shitalakkhya River in Munshiganj.
