Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chennai to inaugurate a new Metro corridor, launch development projects across Tamil Nadu, visit IIT Madras’ brain research centre, inaugurate a music training centre associated with Ilaiyaraaja and attend a school’s golden jubilee celebrations
A Chennai Metro train stalled in an underground tunnel near Central station early Tuesday, forcing passengers to walk nearly 500 metres to High Court station. CMRL said a technical fault caused the disruption, which delayed services for over half an hour.
