Appointed to the Supreme Court on May 13, 2016, he has delivered numerous landmark judgments over his eight-year tenure. Notably, he was part of a five-judge Constitution Bench, led by CJI Chandrachud, that upheld the revocation of Article 370 and directed the Election Commission to arrange elections for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly by September 30, 2024.
