The valuables of Lord Jagannath, kept in a temporary strong room since July 2024, will be shifted back to the original Ratna Bhandar on September 23 after ASI repairs. Rituals will continue, though darshan will be regulated during the process.

"For over two decades, he was the undisputed hero of Odia cinema and an icon in the world of Odia art. His contributions to the industry are unmatched. In addition to Odia films, Mohanty also appeared in numerous Bengali and even Hindi movies, helping to elevate Odia cinema to new heights. His passing is an immeasurable loss to the Odia art world," Majhi stated.
