The Press Council of India (PCI) reiterated its recommendation to the Centre and state/Union territory governments regarding insurance of journalists.

The list also adds employees/workers engaged in provision of telecommunication and internet services as certified by the Director, IT or any officer authorised to certify by him/her.

The PMGKP was announced on March last year, and was extended thrice till April 24, the ministry said.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao emphasised the need to ascertain whether the vaccine has any side affects.
