A journalist was arrested here for alleged criminal conspiracy and extortion, police said on Friday.

The case has been registered on a complaint, dated May 27, 2021, from Chief Vigilance Officer of the Bank Ashish Vinod Joshi.

The narcotics was recovered from Pakistani vessel Al-Madina near Jakhau Port in Kutch, said the NIA.
