Uruguay have announced a strong squad for their October 6 friendly against India in Kolkata, with Real Madrid captain Federico Valverde, Darwin Nunez and Ronald Araujo among the key names. The match will also mark Diego Forlan’s start as head coach.
Darwin Nunez gave Liverpool the lead in the 20th minute after a quick counter-attack following an Aston Villa corner. Mohamed Salah drove the ball forward and set up Nunez, who scored with a shot over goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from a tight angle.
