Girls secured nearly two‑thirds of seats in the first phase of Telangana’s Degree Online Services (DOST) 2026 allotment, with 16 of 20 faculty toppers being female. Out of 56,147 seats allotted, 36,302 went to girls, underscoring their dominance in higher education admissions this year.
