GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar unveiled the national flag at the civic body headquarters which was attended by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, officials and staff.
Mayor and his wife offered silk clothes, navaratnas (gems) in a silver winnowing fan with vermillion and turmeric to Ganga Matha at the temple abutting the Musi river bank.
