Gujarat Titans have appointed former Australia opener Matthew Hayden as their batting coach ahead of the IPL 2026 season. The World Cup-winning batter is expected to strengthen the franchise’s support staff and help shape the team’s batting approach.
“It was an unusual few days for everybody (because of the suspension of the IPL due to Indo-Pakistan tension on the border). For me personally, there was lots to sort out and it was a busy few days,” Mo Bobat, Director of Cricket, Royal Challengers Bengaluru
