Air India has revised fuel surcharges for domestic and international flights due to rising jet fuel prices. Domestic fares will follow a distance-based structure, while international routes see steeper hikes, reflecting global fuel cost pressures on airlines
The government directed airlines to provide 60 percent seats free of charge on domestic flights and ensure passengers on the same PNR sit together. The move by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation aims to improve passenger rights, transparency and curb extra fees
The network-wide sale is open until 11.59 pm of May 25 with the last 24 hours of the sale being exclusively available on Air India’s website and mobile app
The new flights also include four new seasonal flights connecting Jaisalmer, the 'Golden City' of India, with Delhi and Ahmedabad, the airline said in a release.
