US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor and Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday unveiled a plaque renaming the road adjoining the US Consulate in Hyderabad as 'Donald Trump Avenue'.
Telangana will inaugurate ‘Donald Trump Avenue’ near the US Consulate in Hyderabad on June 23. The State had earlier announced naming key roads after global figures, including Ratan Tata and Google, as part of its innovation-focused urban branding initiative.
Hyderabad is reshaping its urban identity by naming major roads and junctions after global corporations and influential figures. Google Street, Microsoft Road, Wipro Junction, and Donald Trump Avenue are among the new names approved by the state government, alongside a tribute to Ratan Tata with Tata Interchange.
