Vikarabad Collector Prateek Jain and Kodangal Area Development Authority Special Officer Venkat Reddy were attacked by villagers in protest against the government’s plans to acquire land for pharma village.
A few residents, including a woman, were injured after police resorted to lathi charge to bring the situation under control. The tense atmosphere prevailed till late in the afternoon.
