Durg Collector Richa Prakash Choudhary shared that 12 passengers lost their lives and 14 others sustained severe injuries when a bus, carrying workers, plunged into a ditch in Durg.

Two men drowned while washing their motorcycle in a river in Chhattisgarh's Durg district, police said on Friday.

The DGP added that police have formed a team to investigate the case, which is working on four to five angles.
