The Telangana government is preparing to introduce an e-Cabinet system to digitise Cabinet proceedings and reduce paper use. Ministers will access agenda notes electronically through a NIC-supported platform, aligning the State with several others that have adopted paperless governance.
All ministers were provided with iPads preloaded and configured with the e-Cabinet application. The day before the meeting, the Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications (ITE & C) Department, along with the NIC team, trained all OSDs and PS to the ministers on the technical aspects, usage, and benefits of the e-Cabinet application to ensure seamless use by the ministers.
