US and Saudi Arabian forces launched coordinated airstrikes on Iran-aligned groups in eastern Iraq after a series of drone attacks targeted American troops and Saudi energy infrastructure. CENTCOM said the strikes were a response to attacks allegedly directed by Iran's Revolutionary Guard.
