Muslims across Hyderabad are celebrating Milad-un-Nabi with religious meetings, blood donation camps and processions. The Milad Peace Juloos will begin from Charminar at 1 pm, with thousands expected to participate. Police have made elaborate security arrangements across the city.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings on Onam and Eid Milad-un-Nabi, wishing people happiness, togetherness and prosperity. Onam celebrates the annual homecoming of King Mahabali, while Eid Milad-un-Nabi commemorates the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
