Hyderabad district has recorded the lowest digitisation of electoral rolls in Telangana at 58.41 percent, while Yadadri Bhuvanagiri leads with 94.30 percent. District Election Officer RV Karnan has urged Hyderabad electors to promptly submit their enumeration forms before the August 10 deadline.
The Election Commission has urged eligible electors to submit their duly filled Enumeration Forms under the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls by August 10. Voters can submit forms through BLOs, collection centres, ERO offices or online via the ECI portal.
A 42-year-old woman Booth Level Officer (BLO) in Kamareddy district, Telangana, alleged that she was obstructed and assaulted by three people, including two women, while conducting house-to-house voter enumeration.
The Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudarshan Reddy warned that failure to submit filled-in enumeration forms during the Special Intensive Revision could lead to deletion of names from electoral rolls.
