BRS working president KT Rama Rao has assured support to citizens opposing the felling of trees around Hyderabad’s KBR Park for road widening. Calling the park an invaluable ecological asset and lung space, he urged the government to adopt alternative proposals and safeguard the city’s greenery through democratic means.
“The Cabinet has decided to scrap the Thiruvananthapuram–Kasaragod semi-high-speed rail corridor project called SilverLine,” Satheesan said at the start of his press conference following a Cabinet meeting chaired by him.
