Telegram was found guilty of committing an administrative offence for failing to restrict access to information when such restriction is required by Russian law, the court said in a statement
The police reported that between August 24 and November 21, a total of 13,933 motorists were booked for driving under the influence. During this period, 13,188 charge sheets were filed in various courts, leading to prosecutions. Additionally, 824 drunk drivers were sentenced to imprisonment ranging from 1 to 10 days, while 227 others were ordered to complete 2 days of social service.
The company earlier failed to pay penalties in a case pertaining to illegal diversion of funds. SEBI issued the demand notice after Reliance Big Entertainment failed to pay the Rs 25 crore fine imposed by the regulator in August this year
