The outlawed Maoist party's wings MIKBDVCM and SCAC have received a major blow in the form of killings of Vargeesh and Magtu

Ramagundam Commissioner of Police M Srinivasulu told 'Telangana Today' that three companies comprising around 60 policemen were deployed on the borders of Telangana to bar the Maoists from entering Mancherial district in search of shelter.

According to Superintendent of Police, Gadchiroli, the encounter took place in a forest of Dhanora Tehsil.

"Incriminating materials have been seized from the spot," informed Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gadchiroli Ankit Goyal.
