BRS general secretary T Jeevan Reddy demanded the withdrawal of GO Ms No. 9, alleging that it was weakening the fee reimbursement scheme and causing hardship to students, while accusing the Congress government of failing to release pending dues to colleges.
Justice Juvvadi Sridevi of the Telangana High Court has suspended the operation of G.O.Ms. No.9 on fee reimbursement admissions until next Tuesday, questioning how private colleges can function when arrears running into thousands of crores remain unpaid.
BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan accused the Congress government of deliberately weakening the fee reimbursement scheme through GO Ms No. 9, alleging it was aimed at concealing the State’s financial crisis rather than safeguarding students.
