At least 10 people were killed and nine injured after a car rammed into a Christmas gathering in Sainte-Anne, Guadeloupe. Authorities are investigating the cause, while witnesses suggested the driver may have suffered a medical emergency. A crisis unit was activated.
Attendance to public events is cut from 5,000 to 1,000 and gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited in public spaces such as beaches and parks.
