A speeding truck allegedly following a Google Maps shortcut entered a restricted zone near the Sheetla Mata temple in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior district and mowed down devotees waiting for darshan, killing 15 people and injuring over 25. The driver has been arrested, while the state government has ordered a probe.
Ganpatlal, a passenger of the ill-fated bus, claimed that nearly 100 people were travelling in the vehicle and a number of them were sitting on its roof.
