Smart rings are gaining popularity among health-conscious users as a discreet alternative to smartwatches. The devices track sleep, heart rate, stress and activity levels while encouraging healthier habits, offering round-the-clock health monitoring in a compact and unobtrusive form.
The company has debuted in the wearable market with the launch of its first-ever health-tracking fitness band OnePlus Band that comes with an ability to track heart rate and blood oxygen levels.
"Recent reports have raised concerns about the Halo's access to this extensive personal and private health information," the lawmaker wrote in the letter this week.
