A cash cheque for the amount was handed over to the woman by former Khammam district convenor V. Srinivasaraju and member P.V. Satyanarayana. They explained that the woman had approached the foundation for help with medical expenses, and the request was brought to the attention of the foundation chairman M. Venkataramaraju, who promptly approved and sanctioned the funds.
