India and China reaffirmed the importance of maintaining peace and tranquillity along the border as Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met senior Chinese leaders in Beijing. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties, expanding exchanges and advancing cooperation in trade, culture and people-to-people relations
The deal gives China, the country where the virus first emerged, a prominent role in the global effort to share vaccines with less-developed countries.
