Mohammed Faran (25) drowned in the Musi River at Puranapul, Hyderabad, after consuming liquor late at night. The DRF team recovered his body on Tuesday morning. Kamatipura police registered a case of suspicious death and are investigating the incident.
The incident took place under the limits of D Kothur forest beat area where digging of trench covering around 25 hectares of forest land was underway to protect the forest
