M Jeevan Reddy was elected Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association while Dr Anil Kumar became Treasurer in the elections held on Sunday. Anil Kumar secured 61 votes, narrowly defeating Harinarayana Rao, who received 59 votes in the contest
The single judge of the court had suspended the July 4 order of former judge Deepak Verma in his capacity as ombudsman of the Association. Justice Verma disqualified office bearers of the Association including vice-president K John Manoj.
