Five police personnel, including an Assistant Sub-Inspector and a trainee Sub-Inspector, were injured when an improvised explosive device detonated during a search operation in Vrindavan village, Begusarai district. The blast occurred while police and STF teams were investigating a robbery case and searching an orchard.
The blast occurred around 8:30 am at a local mosque, which also serves as a religious school in Dir Colony in interior Peshawar, while students were reading the Quran
