Six persons, including three from Hyderabad, were arrested for allegedly hunting a blackbuck at Chondi-Mamadapur grassland in Karnataka’s Bidar district. Forest and Police departments conducted a coordinated search operation, seized two vehicles and a rifle, and registered a wildlife offence case
Six people were arrested in Telangana for illegally hunting protected animals in forest areas of Shadnagar and Makthal. Police seized weapons and mobile phones used in the crimes. The gang had reportedly been operating for over a year.
