India’s sporting fraternity, including Virat Kohli, Jay Shah, Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir, marked the 80th Independence Day with messages celebrating freedom, unity and sacrifice. Athletes, cricket bodies and IPL franchises also paid tribute to the nation’s journey.
