BRS working president KT Rama Rao backed Elon Musk's remarks on Starlink's India entry, urging him to identify the alleged oligarchs he claimed were blocking the satellite internet service. The Centre, however, dismissed Musk's allegations as baseless.
The Centre has dismissed Elon Musk’s claim that Starlink is being unfairly blocked in India, stating that the satellite communication licensing framework is fair, non-discriminatory, and that all three licensees are currently at a similar regulatory stage undergoing security assessments.
