Indian Railways won the 72nd Senior Men’s National Kabaddi Championship by defeating Maharashtra 49-31 in the final at Vadodara. Led by Sunil Kumar, Railways dominated the tournament, overcoming 29 teams to lift the prestigious trophy.
Indian Railways and Maharashtra advanced to the quarterfinals of the Senior National Women’s Kabaddi Championship in Hyderabad. Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh also qualified, with standout performances from R Karthika, Monika, Bhumika and Muskan Sharma
