The City-based Dr Ram, Lifespan Founder, heads the body which has been officially granted permanent membership affiliation by the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU)
The other franchises in the fray include Manipal Education and Medical Group, InCred, Soham Energy-owned Bengaluru Bravehearts, AVIDSYS Sports-owned Chennai Bulls, RMZ’s Delhi Redz, Hutch Ventures-owned Kalinga Black Tigers, and the Dream 11-owned Mumbai Dreamers
The league will be played in the 7s format of the sport and is slated to be held in September this year and will feature 6 teams in its inaugural season
