The Supreme Court has directed every state to constitute dedicated SITs to investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims, noting that the same vehicles were repeatedly shown in accidents. It also ordered insurers to report suspected fraud, act against involved officials and strengthen verification systems
Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have arrested two men from Ghaziabad in connection with a Rs 63.4 lakh insurance fraud. The accused supplied bank accounts for laundering scam proceeds and are linked to at least six such frauds nationwide.
