Donald Trump says the US will resume tariffs on countries without trade deals after July 9. He confirmed a TikTok buyout is under way, claimed Iran’s nuclear sites were obliterated, and proposed temporary immigration relief for farms and hotels facing worker shortages
The US attacks targeting key Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday have further destabilised an already volatile landscape. Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed the damage in a statement issued on Sunday but said the agency could not yet assess the extent of the damage, Xinhua news agency reported.
Attacks on nuclear sites in Iran have caused a sharp degradation in nuclear safety and security in the country. Though they have not so far led to a radiological release affecting the public, there is a danger this could occur, said Grossi.
The warning, posted in Farsi on social media by IDF spokesperson Colonel Avichay Adraee, follows similar alerts issued before past Israeli strikes in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen
