In the film, she starred alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. The comedy-drama film was directed by Nitin Kakkar. It was a remake of the 2010 Argentine comedy Igualita a mí.

Described as a family entertainer, the upcoming untitled project features Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, and Mrunal Thakur in prominent roles.

The movie was also remade in Telugu in 2018, with Samantha Akkineni in the main role. The film also has a Bengali, Malayalam and Tamil version.

As my debut, I believe 'Jawaani Jaaneman' was the best thing that could have happened to me. This past one year, I've received nothing but praises for the film and I feel truly blessed.
