The jungle safari at Kawal Tiger Reserve in Mancherial has resumed after a July suspension. New safari tracks, additional vehicles, and bird-watching activities are drawing tourists, though revised safari and accommodation charges have increased costs for visitors.
Nature lovers, who are forced to visit Kawal Tiger Reserve and other tourist spots in neighbouring Maharashtra for jungle safari shelling out huge amounts, can have a ride through the dense forests and enjoy the wilderness of the region, apart from trekking, watch various species of birds, and see serene streams en route.
The Covid-19 pandemic had forced people from all walks of life to remain indoors for quite a long time, and nature lovers missed out on activities such as trekking, bird watching, jungle safari, among others, due to the lockdown.
