Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park is preparing to welcome kangaroos, wallabies, ring-tailed lemurs and cassowaries from Vantara. The zoo has arranged facilities for the new arrivals, while a pair of zebras is also planned for the city’s wildlife collection.
Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park will soon welcome its first kangaroos from Australia under an animal exchange programme with Vantara. The zoo has also arranged for a female giraffe to join Sunny, enhancing the exotic wildlife collection.
The kangaroos used gazes to communicate with the human instead of attempting to open the box themselves, a behaviour that is usually expected for domesticated animals.
